Bad hair day

Have you ever had a haircut so bad that you did not want ANYONE to see you.
Really, I don’t want to see anyone I know, or even strangers for that matter until it grows out.
I love, love, love my hairdresser.

I have been going to her for almost 4 years.

Seeing that I was a “hair burner” in my past life, I know a good one when I see one.
She is good.

We laugh and talk the whole time she is giving me a new do.

I just don’t know if maybe we talked and laughed a bit too much this last time.
She is 4 mo. pregnant too, maybe that was the problem.

We all lose a bit of our brain cells and get easily distracted in that condition.

(ok, some of us don’t have to be in a “condition” to have that problem)

As much as I did not want to, I have had to go out and I have had to see people.
I tried to over compensate for the bad hair by wearing more makeup than usual.

At first I felt a little bit prositute-ish.

This is what it has come down to.

Do you think anyone noticed my hair?

  1. So glad that you are online again. The new site looks great, and your photos are fun, as always. Your girls are lovely.I can relate to the hair business, but my problem is that I have been trying to grow mine out, and I GIVE UP! It\’s a MOP!…and it\’s getting cut on Wednesday. I will try to learn from you, though, and try not to distract my hairdresser. That has to be a universal hazard; they are just such fun to chat with. The good news is, after a bad cut, it always grows out. The bad news is, if you lose faith in your hairdresser, you have to find a new one, and then hope you never see the former one around town. Have you ever had to go through that?God bless you.

  2. SO freaking funny : )! I love it! I don\’t think you look like a prostitute at all….I am glad you are back up and running! Much love! Are you serious about getting a permit for a lemonade stand? That makes me sad. Don\’t the important people have anything more pressing to worry about besides some kids and lemonade? CRAZY!
