I finally went to the Dr. on Saturday. Yes, I waited 7 days…and I wished I had only waited 6 days. Around 5:00 on day six {Friday} I realized I wasn’t getting better.
This is what I do.
By the time I saw the Dr. I had a sinus infection and a middle ear infection.
Or maybe he said I have an inner ear infection?
Or was it a little ear infection?
Or was it a little ear infection?
What? Did you just say something to me? I can’t hear a darn thing…..

In more important news:
My Mom is having shoulder surgery today….good thoughts and healing prayers would be wonderful!
And something to chew on…if you ever fall and hurt yourself badly…try not to do it just prior to a holiday weekend…and most importantly, I pray you don’t have to deal with workman’s incompetent comp people.
12 days is a long time to sit around in pain {and on pain meds} waiting for a ball to get rolling.

That has made a broken bone more painful than necessary…my Mom deserves better….as does yours.

WCB doesn't sound any better in the US than it is in Canada – they are forever stalling and making people suffer. grrrr. I hope you mom is better than ever after her surgery and that all goes well. I also hope you are feeling better too – next time don't wait so long to see the Dr. – we want you to hear everything(!) that's going on around you.

Oh, so sorry to hear about your sweet mom. I would be happy to add her to my prayers. Crazy…I was at urgent care myself this weekend for a sinus infection. Glad you went to the doctor. If you are like me — with a high threshold for pain, you don't realize how really sick you are until the meds kick in and you start to feel better. I try to get to the doctor earlier now rather than later because 'at my age', life's a lot shorter and I want to enjoy as much of it as I can – – – even though I don't like to do drugs unless absolutely necessary.Praying your mom's recovery is swift and uncomplicated. Bad bummer to have to wait that long for a repair.
