Imelda Who?

If you know me, you know I like order in my life.
So, when my shoe shelves started looking disheveled, I worried.
Suz, stacking shoes?
That is NOT orderly. NOSIRREBOBCATTAIL.
Do I have TOO Many pairs of shoes?
Do I need to weed them out?
Then I smacked myself silly.
Of course, I don’t have too many shoes.
I have too few shelves.
Oh thank goodness….this disorderly conduct is not my fault.

  1. I don't have too many shoes, but I do have a shoe shelf problem and need to find a good way to get them up and off the closet floor…. One can just never organize too much now can they?

  2. No such thing as too many shoes! 🙂 You just need to ask hubby to fix the shelving problem for you. 😉 Missed \”seeing\” you these last few weeks, now I need to catch up with you and yours…

  3. I totally agree with your conclusion – – – too few shelves!!! I looked at your collection and did not see any that were not needed.

  4. I don't have room for a shoe shelf so I bought an Ikea Expedit 2×2 shelf…and with 4 baskets, all of my shoes fit…although I do not have as many shoes as you do…and most of mine are Vans and Converse…but my nice shoes fit too…maybe the Ikea 6×5 would hold all of your shoes :)Happy Reorganizing 🙂

  5. I have four pairs of shoes I wear on a regular basis. Four! I think I have some others but they are stashed away because I don't like them for one reason or another. It's a pain in the butt to be less than a six 6. Do you know how many places carry shoes for people like me??? Approximately nobody. Depressing! : /

  6. Your reasoning is sound; there is no such thing as too many shoes, Imelda (unless you have an odd number of shoes – then you need to lose another one)! I vote for more shelves.I noticed how many open shoes you have; those are in the minority in our climate. I can't imagine what it would be like to live without socks, with toes exposed, for most of the year – but I'd like to try it! 😉
