It’s a beautiful day

Well, Sunday was.
Saturday? Not so beautiful. The weather was dreary.
My ‘weather’ was very dreary on Saturday as well….I spent the entire day in the house and accomplished next to nothing. (by my standards)

But Sunday?
Gorgeous outside.
And thank.the.good.Lord. My ‘weather’ had improved.
The sky was bright.
The wind was blowing.
The temps were delightful.
Garden trimming.
Garden weeding.
Garden feeding.

Since I had lazed around SO much on Saturday….I had enough energy reserved for more good stuff.
Laundry.
Car washing.
Car vacuuming.
Garage cleaning.
Lanai cleaning.
Gave myself a manicure.
DVR watching.
Dinner with my peeps. (all four of us in the same room, at the same time!)

A lovely day.

Cocoa: I want in.
The felines: we want out.
It’s always an uproar around here….even on a beautiful Sunday.

I wish for all my peeps at least 3 or 4 of my past Sundays in their next week.

  2. You were a busy Bee on Sunday, weren't you? 😉 We had so many (outdoor/yard) plans for this weekend, but the weather on Saturday was just awful. Rain in the morning, cold and windy in the afternoon. Yuck. I didn't let that stop me and pressure washed the porch anyway. Needless to say, by the time I was done, I was done! 😦 Yesterday was much better and we did get caught up on a few things. Have a great week!

  6. that's my favorite, having all my peeps under one roof at the same time! lol, i want in, we want out 😉 beautiful here today, but yesterday, yuck! rain/wind/snow! today 70 and sunshine! i am going to do a little gardening too!

  8. I just can't get over the fact that you have THREE orange cats. I do love orange cats.Saturday was a mess! We were supposed to play an outdoor orchestra pops concert in Winter Garden. Even though it stopped raining in time, the entire stage area was flooded. There was water about 6 inches up the chair legs and music stands. Crazy!

  11. Sunday was beau-ti-ful here too. You sure did get a lot done. You want to come visit? It'll take me a month to do all those things you did on Sunday. I don't even know when the last time I did my nails….it's a darn shame.

  12. Animals – – – I feel like I am the unpaid doorman around here. They drive you crazy no matter which side they are on – – – and they have the attention span of a preschooler after they have made the decision to go through the door – – – immediately reverse that decision. They are supposed to help lower our blood pressure not raise it!!!!

  17. Yesterday and today are gorgeous here. Temps in the low 80's and the wind finally died down.Love seeing your pets. They pretty comfy!Your garden looks great!

  18. Our Sunday was cold, cloudy and windy. But I enjoyed it, because it was nice to get warm and take a nap. Oh I so enjoyed it!

  21. Would it make you feel better if I told you my neighbour was shovelling SNOW off her lawn today! LOL The Canadians are going stir crazy! Longest winter ever!
